JCP Leathers also manufactures the following products:
-

-
JCP Industrial Sheepskin Products

General Facts Regarding Wool
-
Wool is a “wonder fiber” and science has yet to produce a fiber with all the properties of wool.
-
Wool is a natural thermal isolator, trapping air between its fibers and thereby ensuring excellent isolation against heat loss or gain.
-
Wool absorbs and evaporate moisture. The porous fibers of wool absorb up to a third of its weight in moisture, and furthermore the porosity of the wool fiber efficiently evaporate moisture, thereby ensuring a comfortable dry skin and even body temperature.
-
Wool is elastic and resilient. The natural strong wool fiber acts like small springs, spreading body pressure and reducing pressure points.
-
Wool is naturally safe and fire resistant.
-
Wool is non-allergic, i.e. no scientific proof exists that people have an allergy for wool.
The secret of wool thus lies in the structure of the wool fibers, which is a natural thermal isolator, absorbs and evaporates moisture, maintains resilience, resists fire and is non-allergic.
Properties of Genuine Sheepskins
-
A genuine sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry. Instead of being wastefully discarded, the genuine sheepskins are tanned and utilized for the manufacture of sheepskin products.
-
Genuine Sheepskins are naturally unique, with some variations in texture and colour which is the automatic guarantee for a real genuine natural sheepskin.
-
A genuine sheepskin is a natural product, durable, lightweight and soft.
-
Genuine Sheepskins are biodegradable, i.e. like other natural materials, genuine sheepskins will return in time to its composite elements.
-
A genuine sheepskin is not two pieces of material glued together, i.e. a stiff hide suede outer glued to a synthetic imitation lining material, usually sold at a much lower price.
